Lydia takes GOLD in the ‘Creative’ category at Goldwell Color Zoom UK 2018!
Two Tony Wood Hair stylists have earned national acclaim at Goldwell UK’s Color Zoom competition, including a Gold placement in the ‘Creative’ hair colouring category, securing the salon a place on the global stage at the international finals in Toronto!
Color Zoom is an annual contest which sees hair stylists from all over the world creating artistically-charged looks.
In 2017, Tony Wood Hair colour specialist Lydia entered the competition and claimed Stylists’ Favourite internationally, and one year on, she’s treading the same limelight.
Lydia said: “I’m over the moon and honoured to have the chance to represent the UK again this year in Toronto, along with the other two talented Gold winners from Britain! I’ll now be going head-to-head with the best stylists from over 36 countries, and doing my best to bring Gold back for Portsmouth.
“I’m so proud of my team, who also bagged a Top 5 and Silver spot.”
The Silver crown was claimed by Tony Wood Hair colourist Tanahya — pictured below on the right — in the ‘New Talent’ category.
Tanahya said: “It’s crazy winning Silver on my first year of entering Color Zoom, having only been qualified for a year! And alongside my team, too. Couldn’t haven’t been a more incredible experience.”
Color Zoom’s theme for 2018 is ‘Elemental’, balancing rawness with refinement, contrasting translucent colours, and focusing on minimalistic shapes which bear a rough, primal edge.
